Because we celebrate
I mean
commemorate
an Anniversary
of my mother's Death.
Candles lit
24 hours
much later on
I learned or finally asked for
her birth date
As if she never had one.
she's always been dead
this is the telegraph my grandmother sent to my grandfather when my mother was born. Grandpa was in the Army stationed in Alaska.
