lindsey Roth

Lindsey Roth (1966, New York CIty) Photographer; Collagist; Painter; Writer; Urban explorer; Armchair anthropologist; and Digital gypsy-let's just say she's an artist.  Under the moniker Artist she has the freedom to work in numerous mediums without limitations. Her work has an emotive quality and she believes that art produces an alchemical relationship trinity between art, artist and observer. She studied photography at School of Visual Arts, Fashion Institute of Technology, The Art Students League of New York, and the Center for Book Arts.  Some of her personal essays writing has appeared online zines such as Salon.com. She has a BA in Culture and Communications from The CUNY School of Professional Studies and holds a Master's in Liberal Studies from The Graduate Center, CUNY. She is a native New Yorker, wife and mother.
